Reading Group meets Sunday Jan 18th: Dostoevsky’s The Idiot – POSTPONED until 2/15

This event has been postponed until February 15th

The first  Florovsky Reading Group meeting of the Spring 2015 semester will be held this Sunday January 18 at 7pm.

Our topic is Fyodor Dostoevsky’s novel The Idiot, and disucssion will be led by Denis Zhernokleyev, president of the Florovsky Society and  resident Dostoevsky expert.Идиот

First Akathist meeting this Wednesday 1/14/15

Please join members of the Florovsky Society  this Wednesday January 14th  to read the Akathist to the Mother of God,  a 6th century text attributed to St. Romanos the Melodist.

We’ll meet at 4pm in the Marquand Transept of the Princeton University Chapel.
